Learning Global E-Business and Collaboration

Today, I've got interesting learning session in my MIS subject. The lecturer taught us about global e-business and collaboration. Perhaps, in your mind, why company should do such collaboration?

Yes! That is because they need other companies to complete their business activities. So, then if they can work together, they will share their differences as their advantages to sustain their business to be the top.

The role of MIS is they collect the information that can be classified for each level of management as 2 things, that is Transaction Processing System (TPS) and Business Intelligent System.

Other than that, companies also uses 4 types of enterprise application, such as:

1. Enterprise System to manage business processes, information flows, reporting, and data analysis.

2. Supply Chain to manage their relationship with suppliers in the form of sharing the information in logistics.

3. Customer Relationship Management helps in analyzing the data to identify, attract, and knowing which one is the most profitable customer with good services to increase the sales.

4. Knowledge based System to manage the collection of information from internal and external sources.

Therefore, if all collaboration were in integrated running, then both of the company can increase their productivity, sales, and profit.
