Welcome back good readers!
Before, I've share several posts regarding the way of achieving competitive advantage for company. And, as my promises that on this post I put some example and detail explanation related with the previous post. My friend and I will try to analyze the concept of Porter's 5 Forces and Value Chain system of banking industry in Singapore, which will be compare to banking industry in China.
Why we choose to compare with China? This is because Singapore and China have similar banking system in which they must be in competition.
Banking industry in Singapore has been consolidating for some decades until now, which makes there are only 3 major bank in Singapore by present. One of them are in the same industry in China. So, because Singapore and China have similarities in banking institution, therefore we think that they can be compare one to another.
So, let's jump to the 1st part which is Porter's 5 Forces.

Next, is the value chain analysis for Singaporean banking industry.
